Flinto vs framer series#
After effects would give me total control over everything that moves so I could focus on the animation and not setting up any code.Īlso, you could create a series of animated icons. It wouldn’t be interactive but it would show my ability to design the transition and my sense of timing and motion. I’d mock up something like you showed in after effects or animate.
Flinto vs framer software#
Which software do you prefer to use in your workflow? How do you go about implementing the designs once approved?” I would probably tell them, “I can certainly mock up more polished animations and transitions. Also, not something I would expect a single person to be able to do. That requires engineering ability or an engineering partner. You can’t click every button, it’s an on-rails slide show for the most part.Ī true prototype in my mind is something actually engineered with a bare minimum of features. Again, in my mind that’s not a “prototype” either. But you’re not going to be able to implement the finer detail of micro animations in that software. If you want to make something interactive to show flows and get an idea of the features, then something like invision, framer, Adobe XD etc will work. In my mind, that’s not a “prototype” though. Or, if AE is too complicated you can mock up some custom animations in Adobe Animate (formerly Flash). If you want to make micro interactions and transitions, then you can design those in After Effects and export them as JSON with the Lottie plugin. That word means different things to different people. You need to understand what they mean by “prototyping”.
